Prince Harry donates $500,000 to help wounded children in Ukraine and Gaza

By Michael HoldenLONDON (Reuters) -Prince Harry's foundation is to donate $500,000 to projects including the World Health Organisation to help develop prosthetics and provide other support for children from Gaza and Ukraine, his office said on Wednesday. The announcement came on the third day of the prince's visit to Britain as Harry visited the Centre for Injury Studies (CIS), part of Imperial College London, to learn more about its work, especially its focus on injuries suffered by children and those sustained in natural disasters.

Nine dead in Israeli strikes on rebel-held Yemen

Israeli air strikes on Huthi-held Yemen killed nine people and wounded more than 100 on Wednesday, the Iran-backed rebels said, days after their prime minister and half the cabinet died in a major attack.The Huthi armed forces' media operation in Sanaa, the rebel-held capital, was hit in the attacks, along with a Huthi complex in Jawf province, the group said.Israel has launched repeated attacks on Huthi targets during the Gaza war, as the Iran-backed rebels fire missiles and drones at Israel and Red Sea shipping, claiming solidarity with the Palestinian cause.

UK PM Starmer hosts Israeli president for tense talks over Gaza and Qatar attack

The meeting comes a day after Israel expanded its attacks on Hamas by launching an airstrike aimed at killing the Islamist group's political leaders in Qatar, a British ally in the Middle East, which Starmer condemned.

Canada is evaluating ties with Israel after Qatar attack, foreign minister says
