Forces loyal to Libya's UN-backed unity government said Wednesday they have taken control of a major power plant near Sirte, the Islamic State group stronghold east of Tripoli.Fighters allied with the unity government "control all the thermal power plant" around 23 kilometres (14 miles) west of Sirte, a statement from the pro-government forces said.
