Coronavirus: Oman reports steep rise of 1,104 new cases, highest ever

Oman has reported its highest ever rise in daily coronavirus cases, with 1,104 new cases over 24 hours, bringing the total to 11,437.Of the 1,104 new cases, 371 were Omani citizens and 643 non-Omanis, according to the Ministry of Health.The death toll in the sultanate is now 47.
